The Original Hacker

Almost everyday, I receive anywhere between 20 to 60 spam messages from around the globe. You will never see the majority of these comments because most range from inappropriate to downright demonic. I praise the Almighty for His protection and for giving me the common sense not to respond to them. All because I have a weekly blog that I use to try to encourage the Body of Christ?

Truth be told, I have no idea why anyone would want to hack this website. I neither practice male bashing nor condone negative mindsets. Furthermore, I strive to present consistent messages that prayerfully build up my beautiful Sisters-in-Christ, not tear them down. I could speculate that this type of harassment comes from a profound sense of boredom, mischief or hatefulness. However, this is a spiritual online residence, so everything we discuss is from that regard. Thankfully, I do not have to scratch my head and wonder who is the true culprit behind these spiritual attacks.   Here’s a hint, he hacks into our lives to only steal, kill and destroy.

Maybe you, too, feel like certain aspects of your life have been invaded lately? For instance, how about that child who is typically obedient but is currently acting out? Perhaps you are dealing with a relationship that previously kept you smiling but now only gives you heartache and tears?

If you have been feeling like you’re under attack, Beloved, please do not give up. You must hold on!   Ephesians 6:11 NIV says we are to “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Additionally, the Holy Spirit is always ready to strengthen us in our hour of need.  All we have to do is earnestly seek Him through the Word of God. Psalm 147:3 NIV tells us, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Just remember, dearest, the next time you feel like your life has been hacked, rest in peace. Never forget, we are protected by far more than any anti-virus. We are, in fact, covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ!
