Surrender to Win

In a battle, surrendering is an acknowledgement of defeat. Many of us, at one point in time, may have wanted to collapse in defeat when under attack by the evil one.  A definition of attack is, “to try to harm, defeat or capture someone.”  1 Peter 5:8 NIV warns, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

If you’ve ever seen how a lion eats it’s prey on TV, you know that the devouring process is horrific and brutal. It means to literally be eaten alive! That’s how satan’s assaults can feel, like having your spirit torn to pieces. At least that’s how I have felt at times during the past four months. And yet today, I bare no resemblance to someone who has been under constant threat, or as the song says, “I Don’t Look Like What I’ve Been Through.”

Have you, too, been hit recently by demonic artillery? If so, dearest, be encouraged.  I recommend you do what I did in order to gain peace of mind, simply “Surrender to Win.” In other words, when we spiritually surrender to Jesus Christ, it launches our war cry to heaven.

Just how does one “Surrender to Win?”

  • We must be obedient to His Will, not our own.
  • Declare and decree the Holy Word out loud over our life daily.
  • Most importantly, we must believe and trust that the Lord is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6 NIV).

As a result, the battle is instantly no longer ours to fight. Exodus 14:14 NIV says, “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”   That means we can walk off the battlefield, with our life and mind still intact, and stand at a safe distance away under the shelter of The Almighty.  Our adversary must then cease aiming his fiery darts at us and unexpectedly turn to fight against an army of angelic warriors commanded by He who has never known a defeat!  Is that not a powerful image to behold?  Thank You, Magnificent Father!

So, Beloved, whatever you do, don’t you dare let the enemy beat you!   Simply surrender to the Holy One with whom all things are possible.  Then you, too, will win every battle with the sweet taste of victory.

    OMG!! Thanks
Great news because I’ve been really struggling with how to regain my peace. I look at you as a vessel straight from Our Lord and Savior. I am determined not to allow the enemy to win. So I will speak to the power of God. God’s Will Be Done! Thank you once again! Ms Joyce
