Prepaid Benefits
One of the most controversial topics in the U.S. today is the Affordable Care Act (ACA), otherwise known as Obamacare. It is a federal mandate, which was signed into power by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010. What makes the law so divisive is that some Americans feel we need it, while others do not. Whatever side of the argument you may be on, no moral individual could deny that the typical cost for receiving healthcare services in this country is often shameful and outlandish. Hence why the majority of our population is suffering under the bondage of high medical expenses. With an elected Congress that is as tainted as rotten fish and a White House Administration whose only agenda is to serve “Me, Myself and I,” whom can we trust? Thankfully, the answer is a simple one. The only one not capable of corruption, greed, hypocrisy, and bigotry, is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Because He lives, there is one Plan Option that all men, women and children can receive, regardless of their socioeconomic status and/or U.S. Citizenship. It is more crucial than the ACA. Once we are Born Again, we inherit a series of life sustaining rewards. Oh, did I forget to mention that the lifetime deductible for this Plan has already been Paid In Full? It was bought with the blood that Jesus Christ shed for us on Mount Calvary almost 3,000 years ago. This awesome Plan Option is none other than our Salvation and it has a wealth of “Prepaid Benefits.”
Quite frankly, there are too many to name! However, according to the Summary Plan Description or Holy Word of God, there’s a few that lift my spirit. Hopefully, they will do the same for yours.
As the Insured, we never have to fear being alone.
Psalm 145:19 NIV says, “He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.”
As the Insured, our Holy Provider won’t raise our premiums for selfish gain.
Isaiah 33:15 NIV tells us that the Lord is, “He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps His hand from accepting bribes…”
As the Insured, we have unlimited access to our All Mighty Carrier.
Psalm 121:7-8 NIV assures us, “…the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
As the Insured, we reap the benefit of an Eternal Life.
In John 10: 27-28 NIV, Jesus explains, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.”
As the Insured, we are protected from the attacks of the Enemy.
Psalm 91:14 NIV says, ” ‘Because he loves me,’ says the LORD, ‘I will rescue him (her); I will protect him (her), for he (she) acknowledges my name.’ “
No matter how the enemy attempts to attack you this week, Beloved, stay strong and hold on to your faith! So, if that child decides to loose their mind, don’t stress, simply remember that you have, “Prepaid Benefits!” If that loved one hurts your feelings, forgive them and focus on your “Prepaid Benefits!” When that condescending supervisor starts complaining, smile and silently encourage yourself with the “Prepaid Benefits” of God’s promises. Just know that trouble doesn’t last always! Most importantly, you are the recipient of the greatest Benefit Plan ever known to mankind and it is the only one that offers us Timeless Rewards.
